Salam…. hello hi~ Like i promised in my previous post, this post will be about Singapore 🙂 the other day I was unable to sleep so i was google-mapping with my little brother.. addicted banar…hehe it feels great.. feels like really travelling..ehehe kesiaaann deh loo.. so yea.. we virtually went to NYC, UK… and finally Singapore. Amazing how the mind still remembers the path and places where we used to live back then.. they were all wonderful memories to remember so i suppose it was easier for the brain to retain the memories and got retrieved.. (ok i sound like a geek..ahah) the little brother didnt got a clue of the places that ive shown him cos when we live there he wasnt born yet.hehe but i was telling him this and that…. its a pity that he didnt had the chance to live elsewhere.. although it was just singapore (i mean it is quite similar to brunei.. the weather and such) and it happens like centuries ago but its an experience i will never forget…. living there is so much different from here.. without further ado, let me share with you guys the places where i spend my early 3 years in singapore 🙂
Our first home was at Taman Serasi… i love this place… dakat dgn botanical garden singapore.. patang2 jalan2 at the garden bagi makan turtles and swans.. jogging.. picnic 🙂 such a lovely place to live in.. dulu ada taman serasi food court but i heard the place had been moved.. not sure where.. i still remember dulu kami suka makan the mee rebus johornya di sana… oh nyums! Here are the pictures i took from the google map 🙂
the is the path to our apartment… masuk ke kanan arah security post atu.. dulu i still remember ada securitynya, suka kacau aku sama kaka ku…. so everytime kami lintas sana mesti belari bagai nak rak…. nasib jua dulu atu ringan..ahah mun time ani kapus2..aahaha Rashid kah nama security atu aaa.. i dun quite remember..hehe
THIS IS OUR APARTMENT :’S first time looking at this at goole-map makes my eyes watery.. this is where we (me&my sibs) waited for our school bus in the morning.. around 8.15am catulah.. cos the class start at 9am..
😥 had a really wonderful memories here…. this is the butterfly garden next to our apartment where me and my sibs usually catch butterflies and play around in the garden… dulu nada tu that playground 🙂 so i guess there will be less butterfly living in the garden? 😥 so sadddd…
that yellow circle is the tuck shop near our apartment.. siuuk ni kadai ani.. i remember the Chinese family who own this shop selalu ajar kami cara2 membali barang.. u know simple basic yet important things mcm, if minta tolong mesti ada ‘please’… after membayar cakap ‘thank you’.. if they say thank you, balas ‘you are welcome’ with a smile… amazing isnt it? such nice people 🙂
After a year or so we moved to a new place much nearer to orchard road 🙂 around 15 minutes walk to orchard road and only 10 minutes walk to school. We live at City Mansion at Paterson road. When i google-map the place it looks quite different from it was before.. but ada imbas2 lah.. 🙂 i also love this place cos its nearer to the city..ahah and ada swimming pool..
Next, our school.. yes our school 😀
this is the road to our elementary school of ISS 🙂 really near to home and the city..heheh when i was in elementary school this is where i go to.. many good and bad memories..heheh played soccer, hockey, gymnastic, swimming.. i also love music and art class 🙂
This is the actual ISS international school of singapore.. masa mula2 sekolah sini dulu all kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school di sini but a year after that (1993 kali) the elementary school was build (see pic above) so we had to move to the new school but still the same school. Masa naik to middle school, I was transferred to the initial school (see pic below). the one with hundreds of stairs.. ngalih berabissss…
imagine our school is at the red circle, the stairs is the yellow circle.. bnyk berabis tangganya.. ahaha majal.. the green circle is where we do our sport activities.. untuk PE class lah tu aaa.. main basketball, hockey.. siuk2~ sometimes we also go to other places for sports and for visits 🙂 i still remember Mrs. Hagen class where we had visits all around Singapore.. fun fun fun~
this is the shortcut to the school.. jalan belakang lah ni.. but we are restricted to use this road.. but orang yang basar2.. those from highschool selalu pakai jalan sini.. me? inda berani…heheh
I think thats all for now.. bought some hindustan dvds tadi at kadai kumi… tut (censored..ahaha) can’t wait to watch it 🙂 will make comments about it nanti if i have time~ oh oh… TP is just around the corner.. k tata~ its dinner time~ 🙂
PS: THANK YOU SO MUCH TO GOOGLE MAP for bringing back the wonderful memories and all of YOU for being here 🙂
Love, Mumui M.
